so i was designing a painting that, while figurative, had no up or down, until i realized i had subconsciously stolen the image from my second favorite movie (requiem for a dream). still, contemplating that it occurred to me i've never painted anything upside down. so here's my first try.
on the right is sunday morning. the left is finished.
. i like it enough to know i'll be painting upside down more in the future.
